There is an awful lot of knowledge out there in the ether. Many gurus and even more websites all spewing forth information to help you to develop your understanding of yourself and others. What is the problem with this knowledge? The problem is; it is only knowledge, it’s not experience. As such, it will always keep you firmly within the boundaries of your own self-limitations.
Like the image above, anyone can talk about what it would be like to leap, but only a few can actually say what they experienced because they took the leap.
“The only source of knowledge is experience.”
– Albert Einstein
I wonder then, just how many people would chose understanding over experience? Would you? Can you really say “I understand” when you haven’t encountered the difficulties and challenges that are necessary in order for you to develop and rehumanise yourself?
What Does Rehumanise Mean?
The simple definition is to make you human again, but the deeper meaning would be to stop being ‘normal’. You are not born normal, you come to this earthly plane full of wonder and excitement, not knowing that your family, school and society will mould you into thinking certain ways, doing as you are told, behaving properly, obeying the rules.
Arthur Mendelson, the character from the film Patch Adams, would encourage you to rehumanise yourself. He said: “See what no one else sees. See what everyone chooses not to see… out of fear, conformity or laziness. See the whole world anew each day!” Pause think, notice, smell, taste, and experience different things on a daily basis. Unlearning all that you know is key to experiencing all that there is to being human, says psychiatrist R.D. Laing. Only then can we truly begin to experience “innocence, truth and love.”
It is here, with genuine, unedited experience that you can be free from your patterns of behaviour and simply notice pure communications as you become the observer, the one. This is where your spirit, your soul, and your true self is waiting for you. But you have to break free from the pre-set boundaries of your mind.
That is why I prefer to give 7 day trainings, because you can keep up a facade for others for a couple of days over a weekend course, but after six or seven days of hypnotic transformation you can’t continue pretending to yourself… and your world transforms because you have been held within an alternative experience longer than is comfortable for you, so you have to change.
Imagine a week, which is full of challenges to your way of thinking, and then imagine being helped through the fear of change with a smile, love and encouragement.
